Real exam: 115 MCQs (100 scored), 2 hrs, pass = scaled 600 on 200–800 (roughly two-thirds correct). Each mock draws 100 questions at the exact exam weights from a 441-question pool, serving questions you have NOT seen in earlier mocks first — two complete mocks with zero repeats. CA Supplemental (Digital Health Canada)

50 MCQs (45 scored), 60 minutes — 72 seconds per question. The CA exam draws on seven content areas (verified June 2026 handbook): Information Management 28–32%, Canadian Health System 20–24%, Analysis & Evaluation 14–16%, Technology Ecosystem 10–14%, Clinical & Health Sciences 10–14%, Healthcare Transformation 4–8%, Project Management 2–4%. The CA mock draws 30 of 158 Canadian questions, weighted across the seven content areas (unseen first) in 36 minutes to train the same pace. Read the official handbook — it is the authoritative prep document.

30-day rule: you must schedule the CA exam within 30 days of purchase. The readiness gate exists so you only buy when your numbers say go.

The CPHIMS-CA registration pathway

CPHIMS-CA = pass the HIMSS CPHIMS exam and the Digital Health Canada CA supplemental. Sequence matters: you cannot buy the CA exam until HIMSS confirms your CPHIMS eligibility.

Document eligibility on HIMSS: a baccalaureate + 5 yrs IMS experience (3 in healthcare), OR a graduate degree + 3 yrs (2 in healthcare), OR 10 yrs (8 in healthcare). Map your degree and work history to the IMS-experience categories and keep it audit-ready.
Submit the HIMSS CPHIMS application + fee → eligibility review → receive your eligibility ID (required before you can book).
Schedule CPHIMS with Pearson VUE within the 90-day authorization window — test centre or remote-proctored (the Quebec French-language exclusion does not affect Alberta).
Purchase the CA exam from Digital Health Canada — only after CPHIMS eligibility is confirmed. Delivered via Prolydian, proctored by Proctor360. Schedule within 30 days of purchase.
Pass both → CPHIMS-CA awarded. Provisional CA result is shown immediately; final follows review.
